Eder Santos was born in Belo Horizonte Minas GErais BRasil, where he lives and works.
His videos features are in the permanent collections of such institutions as MoMA and
Centre Georges Pompidou and are represented internationally by Electronic Arts
Intermix (New York) and London Electronic Arts, Galeria Brito Cimino ( São Paulo)
and Rhys/Mendes Galery.
He was awarded at various editions of the Videobrasil Festival, the Festival del Cine
de Cuba, and the Montreal International Festival of New Cinema and others. His
exhibitions include ExitArt, held at the Chisenhale Gallery in London (2000), Rede
de tensão :2 Brasil Bienals, Havana's Bienial, World Wide Video Festival and others.
The 2 versions of " The Soul Galerie " are now in exhibition in 2 cultural art centers
in Brasil. These 2 exhibitions are in colaboration with the artists : Stephen Vitiello in
" Call Waiting ", Andre Hallak, Fernando Ancil, Fernando Rabelo and Paul Klau in "
Vergini in Orazzione". The production of the exhibitions are encharged of the
3 productions companys " TreMChiC" Lumenargo " and Ateliê 22.
